The rules and obligations of an Assistant Manager are as follows:
AM’s are expected to remain active. If an Assistant Manager continually vanishes for several days or weeks at a time, his/her status may be revoked. While all members are encourage to advertise and spread word of ItM, Assistant Managers are asked to be enthusiastically assertive in recruiting new affiliates.
AMs will be granted access to the following areas:
Message Boards
Series Characters Page
Critter Profiles Page(s)
Current Storyline Page
Character Ranks Page(s)
At any time, an Assistant Manager may:
-Delete posts containing/presenting offensive content - adult links, un-related advertisements, swear words, troll-submissions, etc...
-Settle disputes among members cooperatively and cordially. No ‘Caps’ shouting, cursing, rants, or tantrums. An AM’s reliability may be reflected in his/her ability to remain professional even under pressure.
-Kindly answer questions or comments posted on the boards to the best of his/her ability.
Only in the Managers prolonged absence (of 2 weeks) may an AM:
-Add or update the Series Characters, Critter Profiles, Current Storyline, or Character Ranks pages.
-Delete Role Play posts thought to be in conflict with the RP.
-Host games and suggestions.
Never may an Assistant Manager:
-Delete Pages. If a section requires removal, the Manager(s) will see to its elimination. This ensures that no one is to blame for lost data.
-Create Pages. There are certain pages an AM cannot access for security reasons. Creating new pages will confuse the layout, and create linking dilemmas.
-Mention his/her OOC status when In character during the RP.
-Abuse his/her position Out of Character. This will result in AM termination.
