The Color-Area is Clan Ground. The Gray Region is Wild Terrain. | |
You may create your own Lair as a topic on the Den Site board. Please do so only once for each Character, as your Critter may inhabit only one den at a time.
When Role Playing, it is vital to remember that the Boards symbolize different regions of the same world and storyline. Therefore, a specific character cannot attend more than one board at any given time, unless he/she is traveling between lands. You may have as many Characters as you would like however, and each separate creature can linger in its own forum, or share the same as your other critters. During these occasions, it is best to avoid confusion by clarifying which beast you are posting with. If you have not read the books, please take a moment to read up on each various location, as each sustains landmarks derived directly from the novels.

River Boundary
Following the Meadow brook upstream reveals a change in landscape. Weeds and rocks replace grass and soil. A few charred pines, scoured by a forest fire some time ago, stand brittle against fate and erosion. As the ground slants uphill, the creek becomes wider, deeper, and quick-paced compared to the gentle, sweeping flow of the Meadow stream. In the distance echoes the soothing, faint roar of a waterfall. As one nears the resonance, the earth transforms to that of white gravel and small stones, slender, thriving trees line the bank, their branches unscathed or newly birthed by the cleansing touch of fire. Despite its calming aura and ideal summer-reverie, terrible thing have happened here, terrible things indeed. A cliff-face looms ahead. Within the mass of boulders piled along its base, (shadow-concealed to the untrained eye) is a cave threshold barely wide enough for three lithe felines standing side by side. Water slips from this vague, neglected entrance, weaving in a swift path towards the flourishing river.
Abandoned Cave
 | The cave itself begins as a narrow access tunnel, dark and uninviting. The entire tunnel floor is distorted by the current of an underground stream, save for a few shelves upon which one may delicately edge their way deeper inside. The ground underfoot is rutted and slimy with spongy rock-algae. Further in the gloom becomes thick, impenetrable by sight alone. It is from here that the waterfall’s comforting din resides, muffled by the walls of earth and distance. The corridor abruptly halts, opening up into an enormous cavern. A significant crack within the ceiling illuminates all in a pale, disturbing radiance. From this fracture, water descends in its own tumbling fall, whispering loudly against the stone floor, piercing an otherwise appalling silence as it resumes course towards the cave exit. Monstrous pillars ascend toward the ceiling, escaping into obscurity and shadows. The cave seems to have been flooded, small pools and isolated puddles litter the cold, barren floor. A ledge, somewhat daunting and closely centered compared to the rest protrudes from one wall, and it is upon this shelf that the thoughts of many pause to linger. One would never guess that royalty once ruled here...
Waterfall Warrens
In various locations along and above the waterfall’s rising cliff-face, are smaller, less daunting caverns. Each is no more than a simple rock-den, merely able to comfortably shelter but a few felines in one enclosure.
