The Four Realms

Clan Ground, cherished home of the Named and their well guarded herd beasts. Wild Terrain, a realm as fierce as the claws and fangs that blindly govern it. Coast Range, where the vast kingdoms of water and sky meet. River Valley, a settlement for Face-Tail migrations, claimed by the Song-bound Hunter-Tribe.
Each Territory is really an assembly of several sub-domains, identified by distinct attributes. For example, any horizon-drifter would notice that Clan Ground is divided into four parts, the Den Site, Nursery, Meadow, and River-Boundary. Each location is represented by a ‘Message Board’. These forums are where Role Players post their RP. | |

When Role Playing, it is vital to remember that the Boards symbolize different regions of the same world and storyline. Therefore, a specific character cannot attend more than one board at any given time, unless he/she is traveling between lands. You may have as many Characters as you would like however, and each separate creature can linger in its own forum, or share the same as your other critters. During these occasions, it is best to avoid confusion by clarifying which beast you are posting with. If you have not read the books, please take a moment to read up on each various location, as each sustains landmarks derived directly from the novels.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the OOC board, or email ItM_management@hotmail.com |
| | Twenty five million years ago, the world was a strange and magnificent place. The thundering tread of Lizard Kings and Colossal Reptiles vanished into the wind, to become the bones and dust of prehistory, ushering in the dawn of a new era – the warm-blooded reign of Mammals.
This is a violent epoch, an un-tamed universe free of domestication, and the footfalls of Human Kind. Verdant Earth gives as often as she takes in a warped karma that fragments the mind, and twists the soul. For every beauty, there is an ugliness, every birth - a tragic death. Within primal forests and savage plains, arcane creatures carve out their existence in the flesh of beast and soil. When standing atop regal cliff summits, the lay of the land reveals itself - vast mountains, enigmatic forests, and wind-torn prairies. Here, the battlefield for survival consists of four savage territories: |
Clan Ground The color-area is Clan Ground. The gray-region is Wild Terrain. Only the Named and their allies are welcome here. All others are met with the fierce light of the Red Tongue, or bared fangs. These felines are resolute to keep their homeland safe from intrusion. (click the links to learn more)

Wild Terrain The color-area is Wild Terrain. The gray-region is Clan Ground. This is the vast open world, a realm of towering forests, sky-bound peaks, and lethal shadows. Countless creatures and the Un-Named declare their presence here, battling to exist within a merciless universe. (click the links to learn more)
1.) Feral Lands 2.) Deep Forest 3.) Mountain Pass 4.) Swamp Range 5.) Abandoned Sanctuary

Coast Range Despite its renowned beauty and beckoning waves, the Coast is as ruthless as any earthen terra. The named once thrived ehre during drought, but have since set their sights back on Clan Ground. Now that they are absent, new predators trickle in to inhabit the empty domain. 1.) Plateau Prairie 2.) Ridge Creek 3.) Hidden Lagoon 4.) Shoreline 5.) Islets

River Valley Because Mammoths migrate often, the Hunter-Tribe has little purpose for territory. Nevertheless, Face-Tail herds frequently settle in the rich vale to regroup, breed, or feast in preparation for the long journey ahead. Naturally, the Hunters shadow their location. For this reason, the River Valley has become soemthing of a home to the song-keepers. The color-area represents the ground they identify as theirs. The gray-region is unclaimed land, where the paws of the Un-Named and other carnivores may tread. Such close proximity often leads to skirmishes and war between the separate races. 1.) Scrub Forest And Marsh Pools 2.) Open Plains 3.) Cliff Overhangs 4.) Granite Outcroppings 5.) Nomadic Realm |
