The Color-Area represents the Hunter-Tribe's common settlement.
The Gray Region is unclaimed land.

Earning Territories

The Granite Outcroppings are considered part of the hunter Tribe's settelment. Currently, one cannot claim Territories within this area. A predator (felines included) may attempt to do so, but the Song-Keepers are not likely to approve of such intrusion, and it is rational to assume that they will exile the interloper with bared fangs, and aggressive snarls.

In ther future, there may be a limit as to how many Territories an area may sustain. If this occurs, in order to gain your own Territory, you will have to challenge the current holder, as would beasts in their natural environment.

When Role Playing, it is vital to remember that the Boards symbolize different regions of the same world and storyline. Therefore, a specific character cannot attend more than one board at any given time, unless he/she is traveling between lands. You may have as many Characters as you would like however, and each separate creature can linger in its own forum, or share the same as your other critters. During these occasions, it is best to avoid confusion by clarifying which beast you are posting with.

If you have not read the books, please take a moment to read up on each various location, as each sustains landmarks derived directly from the novels.

Granite Outcroppings

Daunting the Cliff Overhangs, shrouded in secrecy are the Granite-Outcroppings. Their surfaces sparkle beneath the rays of sun and moon light. To many, they are merely stone formations similar to high, broad slabs of meaningless rock - to the Hunters, they are sacred sentinels, gateways to the next journey - the end and beginning of a Song’s reign. It is here that the eccentric tribe escorts their dead, granting them unto wing-gifted scavengers so that they may ceremoniously purify and release them from their binding corpses, and deliver them to the vast sky. It is a holy tradition among the Hunters, one that is not taken lightly.
