The Color-Area represents the Hunter-Tribe's common settlement. The Gray Region is unclaimed land. | |
Earning Territories
The Open Plains are considered part of the hunter Tribe's settelment. Currently, one cannot claim Territories within this area. A predator (felines included) may attempt to do so, but the Song-Keepers are not likely to approve of such intrusion, and it is rational to assume that they will exile the interloper with bared fangs, and aggressive snarls.
In ther future, there may be a limit as to how many Territories an area may sustain. If this occurs, in order to gain your own Territory, you will have to challenge the current holder, as would beasts in their natural environment.
When Role Playing, it is vital to remember that the Boards symbolize different regions of the same world and storyline. Therefore, a specific character cannot attend more than one board at any given time, unless he/she is traveling between lands. You may have as many Characters as you would like however, and each separate creature can linger in its own forum, or share the same as your other critters. During these occasions, it is best to avoid confusion by clarifying which beast you are posting with. If you have not read the books, please take a moment to read up on each various location, as each sustains landmarks derived directly from the novels.

The forest fades, melting into the River Valley’s vast prairie. Grass wavers beneath angular wind, veils of darkest red, gold and even, a few emerald stalks. Weak trees mimic those found in the scrub forest, and docile, twiggy bushes strive to maintain a living from the mired soil. In the valleys obtrusive center, is a massive lake, and it is here that one may often see the numerous Face-tails drifting and milling about, content to graze and slake their water-wiles. Shadowing the Face-Tails, scouting the River Valley’s boundary, are the Hunters. No, not the every-day, run of the mill carnivores one expects to find. The Hunter Tribe. These felines are dedicated in their song, and their purpose. They show little tolerance unknown intruders. They sleep on the open terrain, feast upon the carcasses of the Mammoth herds, and defend the shaggy-giants against all outsiders.
